CAMP WHATEVS

Camping is one of my favorite activities, and I love it. This group has been camping in various places for years, and they have shirts to remember the wonderful days they had spent outside. I was asked to make the shirts this year, and I wanted one that was different from the ones from the past. I wanted to make something that captured the atmosphere of the campsite and what it's like to camp. Since most people use tents and they provide a cozy outdoor atmosphere, I chose to include one. Everything else, such as the mountains and pine trees, seemed to me to capture the essence of the scenery you get when camping. There are no city lights when you are outside; all that is left is the breathtaking scenery and the wildness. When you gaze up, the stars are astounding and leave you in wonder. I made the decision to use a more calming typeface. For "Camp," I wanted to emphasize the relaxation you get from camping, so I used a cursive font style. For "Whatevs," I wanted to use something bold but still soothing because, when you're camping, all you're thinking about is the people around you, not what the coming week holds or any stress you might be experiencing. At Camp Whatevs, all you can think about is the people around you.
